The Jack White Theatre inside of Detroit’s Masonic Temple was dark and filled with fans of local bands Violets, Flint Eastwood and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Saturday evening. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. headlined the show, had me dancing and heavily interested in the 3-D storytelling ball on stage.
Excited to see personal favorite, Flint Eastwood I was glad to see Violets for the first time and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. for a second time. Throughout the night it appeared that the house lights were having difficulties but it was nice to just dance in the dark and see cell phone lights flickering. But moments with the stage lights were still greatly appreciated.
A possible appearance at Lollapalooza was hinted at from Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. so hopefully a confirmation comes soon. While the news brought excitement from the crowd I was happy to see fans exited from the start by standing and dancing at their seats. Now I admit, arriving at the venue and seeing assigned seating did bum me out a bit. But nothing that Flint Eastwood’s Jax Anderson couldn’t fix. Flint Eastwood moved the crowd and managed to get a large majority of fans moving by the middle of their set.
